Remember that trip we took to Lake Placid last weekend? Well, I had the pleasure to hang out with Mary Koes, an engineer working at 4moms, a small Pittsburgh-based business which makes, markets and sells innovative baby products. The CEO of her company is participating in the Forbes.com Boost Your Business contest, in which the company with the highest votes gets $100,000. I love it when people I know are highlighted out there in the big Internet. My friends, Ken and Glen, own a software company, and have their own blog that gets way more attention than anything I do. One of their recent efforts received a whole lot of attention (95,900 hits on Google).

I was just browsing ParentDish, one of my favorite parenting blogs, and I saw that Max, Jen and Chuck’s son, was featured in the Image of the Day. We went to visit these guys last week!

Of course, Jon and Evan were featured in our local newspaper last month, but this, people, is global!
