Snow means sledding
Saturday, February 23rd, 2008
We experienced quite a snow storm yesterday. Because it was Friday, and the snowstorm was going to hit in the afternoon, I knew it was going to be unwise to drive into work. Fridays are always the worst for getting home. So, I took the train. Jonathan and Evan dropped me off at the train station in the morning (apparently Evan cried when I jumped out of the car, because he wanted to go with me) and they picked me up in the afternoon. Evan loves watching the train come and go.
The snow storm finally stopped overnight, and this morning, we walked down to the new High School and went sledding! Even though we didn’t own a sled, we brought a breakfast tray, and some nice peopl
e let us borrow their sled for a few runs.
Evan enjoyed himself. He especially loved throwing snowballs, which he called “you snowball me and I’ll snowball you,” a phrase from one of his favorite books, Snow Bears.
